The average automotive hide is
between 45-55 sq. ft. In computing the number of hides required
to do a good sized job, the following rule of thumb can be applied:
1 yd. (54" wide) equals 18 sq. ft. Thus, the average hide
is the same as 2 1/2 lineal yards. |
